Indulge in the luxurious amenities of our exquisite rooms. Each room boasts a private and fully equipped bathroom. Our robes and premium proprietary toiletries wrap you in elegance. The sunrise brings the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sounds of the kitchen. Our guests eagerly anticipate the morning's culinary delights. The inn's chef is known for creating exquisite multi-course delights using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Each day, at 9 a.m., guests are invited to the charming dining room to indulge in a gourmet breakfast experience. Menu can cater to all dietary allergies, to ensure that every guest's needs are met. Each morning, you will enjoy our freshly brewed coffee that is locally roasted and ground exclusively for OWR’s Inn. Moreover, we have refreshments and a guest kitchenette available for your use. You can find a lovely assortment of gourmet teas, coffees, and mix-ins here. We also provide filtered water, refrigerators, microwave, and dishware. Snacks and drinks are well-stocked for our retreats, so you can help yourself as much as you want during your stay with us.

We will have 17 meals together this week! Ashland, Oregon is famous for its diverse range of food, art, and music. Our class group will be dining at least once a day at a restaurant off-site. We have carefully selected the best and most popular restaurant experiences for you. There will be options to either walk or get a ride to all locations. You will choose from each restaurant’s menu including a cocktail or alcoholic drink, on occasion. 

Meals on-site will be catered by local favorites or prepared by our own chef. Our food artist truly cares about your experience. From the first bite to the last, you'll taste the difference that comes from preparing your dishes with love. We understand the importance of accommodating dietary and food allergies, so we kindly ask that you inform us beforehand. We plan and shop for all meals based on information we have from you ahead of time. 

Let’s get to know one another! On the first day of the retreat, we will have a late afternoon welcome reception in the main dining area—drinks and charcuterie nibbles before our dinner reservations. You will get to meet your hosts, some of the art instructors for the week, and the other guests. Throughout the week, you will live, learn, dine, and create together. This will be a close-knit group by the end of the week! We might as well start the familiarities now :)

Please let us know if you need transportation during your stay with us. We can provide transportation to and from Medford Airport (MFR) for all your scheduled activities, classes, meals, and entertainment. If you prefer to bring your own vehicle, we offer free on-site parking, including an EV (Electric Vehicle) charger that you can use at no additional cost.

As an artist, having access to good tools and supplies is crucial. While most artist retreats offer supplies for purchase, at OWR, all the art supplies and tools you will need are included. You won't encounter additional charges, hidden fees, or surprise expenses during your stay.  All you need to do is relax, enjoy, and let your creativity flow. You will receive a beautiful artist toolkit that is yours to use, keep, and take home with you and continue your creations!

Ashland, Oregon, has recently been awarded this title! A city with a unique and vibrant art, music, culture, and theater scene. You will have the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest artists who have contributed to this city's artistic legacy. You will spend each day of instruction with your small class and an experienced local artist. The intimate class size and hands-on approach will enable you to create your own artwork while learning from these accomplished professionals.

During this O.W.R. Art retreat, you'll learn various mediums and techniques from professional artists. The specific artists and mediums covered will change based on availability and the retreat schedule. However, you can expect to create your own finished pieces each day. In addition to the artwork you'll make, the retreat will inspire and ignite a new passion within you for whichever medium you choose to explore further. Whether you are arriving solo or with someone special (BFF/partner/sibling/spouse), you will have the opportunity to experience creative awakenings and new ideas this week. Additionally, you will get the chance to connect with other like-minded individuals. You already share a common interest in having a "Creative Spirit."
