A note from Billy and Jacqui-

“First and foremost, we are individuals who have been through our own “demons”, struggles, “unfair” life circumstances, and personal afflictions. We are people who have made poor choices, used unhealthy ways of coping through hurts, and have experienced MANY life transitions- wanted or not.

We are also persons who have learned MANY lessons, reached out for help from every resource we could find, put into practice healthy ways to maneuver through trials, chosen to live life with accountability, and developed ways to become more fluid with what “life throws at us”. We are a couple who utilizes all we have experienced prior to be more productive and present, for what we want now and for our futures. And are more equipped and ready for REAL life struggles that come our way.

We have a deep compassion for others in pain. A yearning to always keep learning. A passion for experiencing new things and embracing the everyday “mundane” – that makes life “Life”. We desire to create a safe space to help others to discover how to live their most fulfilled and authentic selves, in their own journeys. “

The who and why:

Meet Billy and Jacqui. When they made the decision to follow their dreams and work in the field of hosting and serving others, they decided Ashland Oregon was the perfect place. And the beautiful “Bayberry Inn Bed & Breakfast” would be the ideal location to acquire and continue to run as a beloved B&B, to host their family gatherings on special occasions. Including their eight children, their kids’ partners, and their grandchildren. While also, being the perfect facility for their other baby “Oregon Wellness Retreat”. All-Inclusive trips designed for self and relationship nourishment.

They source everything they can, for their businesses, locally. Aiming to do their part and helping the charming city of Ashland thrive and continue to be a favorite destination for hundreds of thousands every year. While supporting local artisans, businesses, healthcare, body workers, and talents. Working with dozens of professionals in the area has enabled them to bring the best local offerings to their retreat guests, while supporting the community. 

Their leadership and coaching passions are unique, in that they help individuals find empowerment and self-advocacy in their existing skills and gifts. While being a source of encouragement and support for gaining additional tools, in the areas clients wish to address. And aiding in the discovery for the most productive ways to implement those resources into the individual’s real-life goals and trials.

Jacqui is, accredited through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and carries accreditations in Natural Holistic Remedies, and dozens of certifications in continued education within the medical care field. Certified in NLP, DBT, SFBT, and Group Therapy. She is the Apothecarial Chemist behind every formula used in Botanically Fused Formulas (BFF LLC, also based out of Ashland and parent company to O.W.R.).

She spent much of her adult life raising her family (including being a foster parent for many), working as an artist, creative designer, and even opened an art gallery in 2010. Unfortunately, soon after the opening of the gallery, chronic pain became a constant in her life. She stopped painting and in 2012 changed gears into studying Integrative Medicine and working for the state of California as a Life Coach, with the IDD community. In 2016, she started and ran a nationally recognized nonprofit, for a short time. Providing 1000's of persons in need with shoes and socks. Before becoming ill, again. Utilizing alternative medicine in her own medical regime has changed her life and it became a  passion of hers to “help get the word out”. Now, living a full and healthy life, Jacqui continues her curiosity and education in the field. And facilitates others to discover additional resources, for their own journeys. 

(She wants to be clear: Jacqui, loves Western Medicine and feels so blessed to be a country that has so much to offer in the fields of medicine and science. She aims to empower clients to ADD TO their current medical regimes NOT remove or discount the treatments they currently receive from Dr’s.) 

Billy transitioned out of his 25-year career within a multi-billion dollar- worldwide company. And took his many years of mentoring, business degrees, and his love of supporting and encouraging others into the field of welcoming and hosting people, on a more personal level. 

For over a decade, part of Billy's last position, at a worldwide organization, was to mentor and overhaul cultural dynamics within established systems. He implemented groundbreaking psychological and managerial techniques to create more productive and peaceful relations for the employees themselves. Which lead the way for increased production and minimized conflicts and costs of manufacturing, overall. Billy also has a passion for financial coaching and has helped many in the way of creating a more comfortable future. 

Not only overcoming but flourishing, out of “deep dark places”, has fueled his empathy for others and his desire to support couples and individuals in their search for healthier and life-giving relationships. From his history of becoming a single father in high school and working full time, to adventures as an Alaskan fisherman, to shortly becoming one of the youngest Plant Managers, all prior to returning to school for his business degrees. For more than a decade, Billy developed a homestead property in Western Oregon and commuted to CA for work, for several years. These and other life experiences helped to shape who he is today and anchor him back in Oregon, doing what he loves, with his loving wife!
